Magnolia is a beautiful seaside village of Gloucester, located just north of Boston. The Magnolia 525 Tavern is a great place to meet friends, old and new, a local's hometown tavern. Open Tuesday - Sunday 5pm to close (9-10pm dinner stops, stay for drinks until late!). We serve upscale American tavern classics - fresh local baked haddock, savory steak tips with loaded mashed potatoes, our famous Burger of the Week special, brick oven artisan pizzas and lots more. Our interior design is warm and welcoming, we have a custom, curved-shaped beautiful bar that invites conversation, large booths for the family, high tops for friends and small intimate tables for meetings or dates and a great outdoor patio. Featured on the Phantom Gourmet, in the Boston Globe and CBS News, come see why the 525 Tavern is a favorite!

Nice environment and staff, but my order is wrong everytime even though I continuously stress that I only want lettuce and tomatoes on my veggie burger. Also salad dressing is rarely given when getting a salad for take out, even if you provide them with the salad dressing you’d like.

Nice place. Try the short rib sandwich

We evidently went on a bad night. We decided to sit at the bar. The bartender wasn't really friendly. My wife ordered a pizza that was given to the wrong people. They took it back to the kitchen where they started over. Her order must have gone to the back of the line because it took an unusual amount of time for her to get a new one. Meanwhile, I didn't know what happened to my order for the steak tips. I was finally served after my wife received her pizza and of course it was cold. It probably sat under the warming lights for all that time. They attempted to reheat it, but it just didn't work out well. They did comp my wife a glass of wine.Probably wouldn't recommend it
